You see the glitz and glamour, the bling and wheels but little do you know, it’s ALL a facade. This is not to say that, there aren’t any ‘rich’ rappers as most of them are SELF made millionaires with no major label.
There are plenty of rappers who built a following on youtube and made millions of dollars. Fact is it comes down to their rapping ability making them money through only them internet.
Going through a major label is a chumps way, selling your life away. Artist with true skill do not need a shit load of money forced promotion to be heard. If an artist on a major label makes $1million, that label gets $5million.
